Vitamin C is one of the antioxidants that can effectively defend against “free radicals”. These free radicals occur particularly in cancer and the metabolic dysfunctions associated with it. Vitamin C also has many beneficial effects on the body’s hormone control system and is involved in many cell and tissue processes.

Glutathione

It can transform harmful substances in the organism, e.g.  they become water-soluble and can then be eliminated via the kidney.

The following effects are attributed to Glutathione:

  • Reduction of free radicals.
  • The oxygenation of the body is improved because the function of the red blood cells is improved.
  • By activating the lymphocytes, the immune system is strengthened.
  • It binds poisons, such as heavy metals, and helps in their elimination.
  • It protects cells from radiation damage (e.g., cancer radiation therapy).
